MOO Website Development Agency Melbourne
Our web development team in Melbourne uses a proven, iterative and transparent website design and development process because we know it delivers.
1. Consultation
We will consult with you to gain a thorough understanding of your targeted customer groups and buying motivators, as well as any design preferences you may have.
2. Server configuration
We’ll configure the web host server and load the WordPress CMS. A coming soon page will be loaded and will remain visible during the website development.
3. Wireframing and visual design
Working with you to produce your site map, we will then start to map out the interface so you can begin to visually see the user journey experience. From here, we will plan out the visual elements of the website, including how we integrate your brand style.
4. Development and population
Once the design direction and site map are approved, we will configure the website to reflect your brand and create frameworks and navigation for content population. We produce static page designs for review and approval, prior to development. Every MOO website is built with optimised code and with best practice SEO front-of-mind.
5. Full site test, backup, migration and “go live”
We will run a full test of all links and functionality before the site goes live, including migration of the development website into the production environment if necessary. A full back up of the site’s database and files is also made.
MOO website design benefits
Responsive
Your new website will be fully responsive, adjusting its layout for desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile views. This will make your site user friendly and search engine friendly. All content remains viewable but layout adjustments occur depending on the media.
SEO
Having a website that is SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) friendly enhances the site’s organic (rather than paid) ranking on Google and other search engines. The website will be built to all current technical SEO standards and the quote includes the SEO meta data requirements.
Training and support
We will train you on how to make changes to the new refreshed website via WordPress. WordPress is user friendly and changes to your site can be made via a login page accessed via the Internet. If future changes to the site require support from MOO, we are here to help.
MOO accessible websites
We have extensive experience designing and developing accessible websites. From NDIS registered providers to contemporary organisations and brands who value people living with disability as customers and employees, MOO’s website design services can incorporate WCAG 2.0, WCAG 2.1 and WCAG 2.3 standards.
Accessibility involves a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities. However, we know first-hand that website designs and WCAG standards cannot meet the needs of all people living with disability.
That’s why, as part of our consultation phase, MOO works with our clients to understand their website design requirements so we can apply the right WCAG standards. MOO can also apply the latest contrast checking software and proven accessibility widgets to support our clients and their sustainability aims.
